Jen-ny (Forest Gump)

Jen-ny!!!! Well my gal Jenny G is leaving us today for 10 days! I am going to miss having my IM go off 40 times a day and hanging with her and the kids. If you are reading this and don't know Jenny, she is one of a kind. A little sweet, a little sour, a little sassy, that pretty much sums her up. She is going to kill me, but I had to post these pics with this blog. The first picture is Jenny on the way back from the pumpkin patch after a couple rounds with Victoria (her daughter) and the second is what Vicotria thought about it. It is too funny, I could not resist. Have fun at the beach Jenny! We will miss you!!!!!!

My first born

I never pictured myself with a little boy, but when Isaac was born it was a perfect fit! I look at him and cannot believe how blessed I am to have him in my life. He makes me laugh everyday with the stuff he comes up with like.."I only eat healthy food, like meat" or "Thanks for putting Avri in time out mom". I guess my most favorite times are first thing in the morning. As soon as he wakes up, he walks in my room and kisses me on the forehead. It is the sweetest thing. Even if I am still asleep, he sneaks in and gives me that good morning kiss. I hope that does not slip away with growing up. Speaking of growing up, he is quite the ladies man. He loves to grab a peck on the cheek or hold hands with his little "girlfriends". His favorite two are Alex and Lexi. This afternoon after we had seen Alex and were driving away I heard him whisper to himself "I'll miss you Alex", it made my heart melt. I look forward to everyday with him and watching him grow into the man he will be.

There was a little girl who had a little curl...

As I watch my little girl grow, I realize just how much of a girl she is. She loves make-up, dressing up, doing things on her own, and basically tries to run the show. On this day she said she wanted curls just like her doll, so with the little bit of hair she has, we went to work. It actually turned out really cute and now she asks me to curl her hair all the time. I was impressed at how patient she was, but I'm sure she has come to realize beautiful hair takes time. I see so much of myself in her, it is crazy and I love it!

A trip for TWO!

We just got back from a great vacation in Punta Cana, DR. We had the best time. Food, fun, sleeping til noon. It was the best. It was extra great since Phillip got the trip as a reward through his company. We flew for the first time and I was terrified, but after a few prayers and some deep breathing we were off and arrived safely. The resort was beautiful and we spent the days relaxing by the pool and just talking, who knew couples with kids can actually talk?? It was great to have some alone time, but we were missing our babies SOO MUCH! By the day we were leaving, we were more than ready to get home and see them. It is good to be home!

My man

Phillip and I are leaving out tonight to head to our first BIG trip. He was rewarded by his company with a trip to the Dominican Republic and we are so excited. IT will be the first time for us both to fly and this made me begin to think of all the firsts we have had together, first date, first kiss, first fight.... the list goes on and on. We have shared so many things that we will never forget and there is no one else I would rather have by my side. I look forward to our lifetime of memories together!

Me love Sushi Long time!

Well, it's another night with the girls. Devon's hubby Greg taught us all how to make sushi and it was SOOOO good! I had been on vacation, so it was nice to get together for some girl time. Of course we were up until 2:00 a.m. laughing and playing a little truth or dare. Angelle also brought a great surprise, her man got us all spa certificates for her anniversary!! What a sweetie! We are going to have a such a fantastic time and I cannot wait!

Beach Trip!!

Well we are back from the beach and we had a great time. It was the kids first time to see the ocean and they had a fit! Isaac did not go anywhere without his trusty goggles and Avri was sporting a wedgie wherever she went. It rained, but we did manage to get in a couple dry hours. We stayed in a beautiful place at the Beach Club and just spent some quality family time together. We just hung out on the beach, went swimming, built sand castles, and watched movies. It was the perfect vacation. Maybe that rain saved our white tails from some third degree burns:)

What a night!

It seems that lately my friends and I are going in 100 different directions, we just can't get together. So, in a moment of dispare..... We Fled! We left our homes in the dark of night to meet up and just chat for a few minutes. It was so much fun, kind of like high school again, when you would just about go anywhere to get out of your house. I love these girls!
